The Spectrum was built by Volker Stevin during 2007/08. Voluntary Action Rotherham moved here in April 2008 having formerly been spread across two sites. Funding for the £1.2 million was provided by Yorkshire Forward.

VAR staff moved into the buliding on the 14th April 2008 after it been completed on-time and in budget. The Spectrum utilises 'Sustainable Technology' and is Breeam Accredited.

We have a mix of tenants from the charity and private sector occupying the 2nd floor and our meeting rooms are all on the ground floor.  Disabled parking is available on-site and there are two car park within 50 metres costing under £2 for a full day's parking.
